Titanium outdoor cup with lid and foldable wire handle - example of customizable prototype in Boertala Outdoor OEM process

How to customize your product? These are the processes you should know.

Phase 1: Understanding Needs

1. The customer submits their requirements to us (capacity/size/color/material/logo style/quantity/delivery time/budget).

2. Sales staff fill out the "Outdoor Product Customization Requirements Form" (e.g., material type, waterproof/insulation/abrasion resistance rating, certification requirements).

3. We quickly assess (price fluctuations of various materials? fabric weight? tent pole materials?).
Output: Requirements Form + Feasibility Feedback

Outdoor products emphasize "lightweight/weather-resistant/functionality", and provide advance reminders of seasonality for different products (waterproof in spring and summer vs. heat insulation in winter).

Phase 2: Design and Prototyping (7-15 days)

1. Produce 1-2 plans:

• Metal products (titanium cups, wood-burning stoves, etc.): Parameters such as logo, material, color, and model.

• Composite type (tent): 3D rendering + pole/fabric specifications

2. Customer confirmation (provide samples for confirmation).
Output: Confirmed draft + Sample order
Titanium-based products require vector files; tents require fabric samples (nylon/polyester/PU coating); knives require safety structure confirmation.

Phase 3: Quotation and Contract Signing

1. Tiered pricing (different unit prices are determined by the quantity of products).

2. Sign an OEM Outdoor Customization Contract (covering intellectual property rights, material grades, functional testing standards, delivery delays, and export certifications).
Output: Confirm details + Customized contract + 30-50% down payment

Phase 4: Sample Confirmation (3-7 days)

1. Make 1-3 physical samples/sets.

2. Customer confirmation of receipt (video + "Sample Confirmation Form"): Dimensions, weight, and functional tests (thermal insulation/waterproofing/load-bearing/drop resistance).

3. Through material preparation/mold opening.
Output: Signed confirmation form
Sample fees are charged according to different product types.

Phase 5: Mass Production (20-35 days)

1. ERP production scheduling.

2. The process flow automatically switches according to the product.

3. Weekly progress report.
Output: Production schedule

Phase 6: Final quality inspection and packaging (3-5 days)

1. 100% full inspection or AQL sampling inspection (appearance + functional test report).

2. Provide corresponding certifications according to customer needs (food grade SGS / waterproof rating / REACH).

3. Customized packaging (single gift box/compression bag/shockproof outer carton).
Output: Quality inspection report + packaging photos

Phase 7: Shipment and Logistics Tracking

1. Customer confirms address.

2. Logistics options (dedicated line logistics/sea freight).

3. Send the tracking number and tracking link.
Output: Shipping notification

Phase 8: After-sales service and case closure (7-30 days)

1. We will proactively follow up within 7 days of receiving the goods (to provide feedback on functionality and durability).

2. Free replacement/return for quality issues (if the product itself has a quality problem).

3. Customer satisfaction feedback: We make improvements based on customer feedback.
